Estate Planning & Elder Law Associate -LaGrange, Illinois Office

Established over 37 years, growing, caring and dynamic LaGrange Estate Planning and Elder Law firm seeks a full-time Associate with at least 2-3 years’ experience in Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Elder law. Asset Protection, tax and/or special needs backgrounds considered a plus. Duties will include drafting of estate planning documents, estate administration matters, meeting with clients, drafting necessary pleadings, correspondence, court appearances, managing a case load and maintaining extensive client, attorney and court contacts. Candidate must be an experienced professional, team player for this small and growing law firm.

Immediate client contact in a congenial work environment.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Additional performance/Bonus potential. Full benefits including group medical, vision, dental, 401 (k) plan, long term disability and a generous vacation and holiday policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Illinois
  • 2-3 years Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Elder Law experience
  • Strong organization, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within deadlines
  • High attention to detail and the ability to take direction
  • Experience in drafting estate planning documents, pleadings/motions, attending court, and meeting with clients
